Located at 8396 Musick Memorial Drive, Mai Lee is a delightful blend of Vietnamese and Chinese culinary offerings. **Decor: Understated Simplicity** Upon entering Mai Lee, you might notice that the decor is quite basic, featuring standard tables, wallpaper, and flooring. The ambiance is unpretentious and straightforward, putting the focus squarely on the food. **Service: Unassuming Efficiency** The service at Mai Lee is simple and efficient. You're promptly greeted, your order is taken, and then it’s pretty much up to you to enjoy your meal. While the personalized touch might be lacking, the efficiency ensures that the experience centers around the food. **Food: A Flavorful Delight**...

When I inquired about the automatic gratuity at the front desk, I was shown that it was stated on the menu, which I wasn't aware of. However, when I explained my dissatisfaction regarding the service, the manager questioned why I didn't think the 18% gratuity was warranted. I listed all the issues that contributed to my disappointment. The manager then remarked, somewhat rhetorically, that they could remove the automatic gratuity if I really wanted them to. I confirmed that I would appreciate that, as I didn't feel the service warranted an 18% tip. I felt as though the manager was trying to make me feel guilty for requesting the gratuity to be removed, which was not okay. It's worth noting...

I spent $50 on the worst food I’ve ever eaten. How is it possible to serve such terrible food? How do you even mess up chicken wings? The moment I opened the box, I knew I had made a mistake in ordering. We tried the Canh Ga Chien Nuoc Mam (fried chicken wings with stir-fried onions in fish sauce), but the wings had no breading at all—they were essentially naked. The menu should clearly state that they are fried naked wings, because I absolutely dislike them that way and wouldn’t have ordered if I had known. Then, the plain egg foo young and gravy was just disgusting. The only decent item we had were the spring rolls. They should be ashamed of themselves for serving such awful food. It was j...

During my visit to St. Louis, our hotel suggested this restaurant. I found the fried chicken appetizer to be quite ordinary, so I wouldn't recommend ordering it. However, the Goi Guon was enjoyable, particularly because the accompanying sauce had a unique tamarind flavor that added an interesting sour twist, which was a change from what I'm used to. The pho was decent, but I felt the portion size was smaller compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve tried. I definitely recommend exploring their Chinese menu, as it seemed promising. The service was attentive and our food arrived swiftly. Plus, there's a free parking garage nearby, which was a nice bonus. Réservez une table maintenant

My experiences at Mai Lee have usually been fantastic, but yesterday I was very disappointed with the service. My friends and I came in for happy hour lunch, but due to our server's mistakes, we missed our chance to order from the happy hour menu and were unfairly blamed for it. The chicken was tough and rubbery, as if it had been fried twice. The rice lacked flavor, and to make matters worse, I saw a rat scurrying around while I was drinking! This is unacceptable, Mai Lee! You need to address this before I leave the country!

This place has the best pho ever! I really recommend the pho and the pad thai. The staff is amazing and are very nice. The place has a great atmosphere and lots of sunshine. The menu has options for all kinds of foods and eating preferences. Vegetarian options: Staff is knowledgeable about substitutions and allergies. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

The restaurant was filled with friendly faces. The customer service was attentive and nice. I had the Pho Ga (Chicken breast and rice noodles in beef broth). It was flavorful but not the best in the city of St Louis.

Mai Lee has been a staple for ages, and it’s easy to see why once you’ve dined there. The Dau Hu Xao Lan is absolutely fantastic. Réservez une table maintenant
