ZERO STARS if I can give it that! DON'T ORDER HERE! I came across this place cuz I was looking for bakeries to order cake pops and apparently this one is the only one in town who does it. I was surprised safeway, nobhill or even Whole Foods doesn't do them. It's 3 days prior to me needing them for my TK classroom bday. I called and she said that's enough time. I came in after work and ordered , showed her what I want. My request was basic purple with sprinkles and the other dozen to be light blue with sprinkles. Flavors are chocolate and marble. One design and flavor per dozen which is understandable. I came the morning of pick up and both orders are not ready. I also had to remind her so I showed her a pic of what My cake pop should look like since I figure maybe she just needs to put sprinkles last. She literally just grabbed left over cake pops from her display fridge and drizzle it with blue and purple candy melts and of course the flavors I got were different. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME! We paid u properly and didn't short hand u, so don't do that to customers who entrusted u with their business.

since this is a bakery, i would say i cannot rate them on cake orders bc i have not ordered a cake from here. however i did once try a pumpkin empanada from the dollar case where they also keep cake pops and macarons which also had mold on it. the owner saw it and apologized and he gave me my money back immediately. i think they should focus on cake making and not so much the every day stuff because a lot of the kids from salinas high school come here and we definitely don't want these kids getting sick to their stomach on a minor issue that can be avoided. maybe the made to order food will not be an issue because it is not sitting there and made to order but the stuff on the display case sits for a long time so the mold explains that part.

I ordered a cake for my daughter's 1st communion, cookies and cake pops. First, the woman who took my order never asked for the flavor of cake for the cake pops. Once I realized the oversight I ended up calling to ask for chocolate cake. Then, I asked for fresh flowers on my cake. I was asked to take the flowers and that I could get the unused flowers back. I took in two bouquets of flowers and got nothing back. She put hardly any flowers on my cake, not sure what she did with $30 of my flowers. The frosting on the cake pops was too heavy/much. The cake was definitely NOT moist at all. It was expensive and not very good. Will never use them again.

Have had a nice breakfast here before but this visit was to get a cake. They didn't have any cakes available at the time but made us one pretty quickly. The birthday boy (elder gentleman) and we enjoyed it very much.Food: 5/5

We bought an assortment of cookies. They looked really good.However, each cookie we tasted was very, very dry, and tasted old. We won’t be going back.
