Maiz Mexican Cantina

Probably the whitest Mexican place I 've ever been too.. honestly really disappointing all around. The server I had was really rude. Called for him a few times and he walked away while I was speaking to help another guy that has just walked in so that was really rude. The prices online are also not the same as inside on menu they 're a bit more pricier and the food wasnt honestly even worth it. I actually found a hair in my kids food. They exchanged it but weren 't very sympathetic about the issue... The carnitas isn 't even real carnitas, the 'mexican rice ' was just wild rice with corn in it. Was kinda weird... I don 't know I just was all around bummed especially after reading such good reviews.. very disappointed and disatified.

Recently friends of ours recommended we all head here for Tuesday Taco night. We were not disappointed! Tacos and margaritas for everyone! The food was awesome and the service was great. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Maiz is the best Mexican food you can get in Washtenaw county (which includes Ann Arbor's crapshoot of Tios, Prickly Pear, and Isalita).

I love Maize and typically really enjoy their food and drinkHowever, on my last visit there, I was unimpressed.
