Maize Mash - Réservation de table

This place has been on my list to visit for some time now; I went on my 36th birthday. I was a little annoyed upon arriving because despite making a reservation, we still had to wait almost 15 min to be seated. Our server was nice enough but not very attentive. The restaurant was busy noisy on a Saturday evening, understandably) so that could have affected his attention to our table. I tried to get his attention 3x to ask for our check, I quickly placed my payment on the edge of the table, only for him to walk directly past it 2x without grabbing it. Thankfully another server picked it up quickly ran my card. The server also saw us get up to leave but didn’t come over to thank us /or say bye...

Didn’t bring my food out with the rest of the table-I was totally cool with it.More than halfway through eating, I realized my Nashville chicken sandwich (which was delicious! had bacon on it. I don’t eat meat; again, I was totally cool with it (even though I was pretty upset. Mistakes happen .Accidentally left my card on the table, called to claim, they said they didn’t have it.Next day, I have fraudulent charges.My coolness is wearing off….

Food was amazing! Server gave us recommendations and they were stellar. I had a mocktail, my husband had one of the whiskey cocktails and both were awesome. We shared the hot chicken baos (amazing), I had a salmon salad, my husband had the maize and mash burger with Mac n cheese, and we had broccolini on the side. Everything was delicious. Hidden gem!

The cocktails were amazing. Would definitely return to try others. Everyone loved their dinner entries as well. So those two things were great but to top it off our server was amazing. An all around great experience. Thanks we will definitely return again! Réservez une table maintenant

The food was delicious! The drinks are fresh and new, and very well balanced. The best part of our experience was the staff! Each member was knowledgeable of the drink and dinner menu and made incredible recommendations. Overall, a wonderful evening out.

Great craft cocktail Bar .Love this restaurant.I live in Chocago. But my go-to place when I visit burbs. City standards with suburban price.

My wife I have enjoyed everything we have tried. Every dish has been flavorful. The short rib poutine appetizer is really good.

Food was very good, and the restaurant has a cool atmosphere. We had a table on the second floor and loved Réservez une table maintenant

Pricey but worth every penny... Stop in for the specialty drink or just enjoy the nosh... Can't go wrong.

Great drinks and appetizers! I was impressed that the cocktails were well made and pretty strong.
