The bar was quite crowded, so my friend and I asked a bouncer if we could step outside for a moment to get some fresh air. When we tried to re-enter a minute later, the bouncer denied my friend access unless he paid a $20 "cut the line" fee. I pointed out that I had just spoken to him moments earlier, but he called me a liar and insisted that my friend had never been inside in the first place. In response to this rude behavior, we decided to leave with our entire group of six. If you're looking to be taken advantage of by unfriendly bouncers, this might be the place for you.
The best prime rib sandwich you'll ever have. Outdoor seating in the parking lot. Taco Thursday is my new favorite lunch. Salsa bar . They have corned beef tacos. Yummy and delicious. Ok we're trying the Blu cheese burger. I'm back to the prime ribsandwich. Today I wanted the bacon cheeseburger with blue cheese dressing on the side$11.00 very delicious And the garden salad$5. W/ blue cheese dressing best blue cheese dressing in the world? And the bartenders are adorable!!! Friendly noattitude) My new favorite beer Harland hazy I.P.A.
We were cruising around town looking for places open on Christmas Day and ended up at Malarkys! It’s a classic Irish pub, and we tried The Perfect Guinness, which truly lived up to its name. The Pub burger was incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. However, the fish and chips were a bit of a letdown; there seemed to be more batter than fish, which was disappointing. But definitely order the tots as your side—they're a must!
I visited this tidy pub with my cousin on a relatively quiet evening. While the atmosphere was pleasant, the bartender seemed more focused on personal enjoyment after hours rather than serving us. We found ourselves having to wave down anyone who noticed us in order to order drinks and food. I'm unsure if this is a regular occurrence or just a rare situation.
This restaurant brought immense joy to my Irish side. I indulged in a Guinness, a pastrami sandwich, and a corned beef sandwich. I even sampled their Irish taco, which featured corned beef in a green tortilla. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their pancakes and chicken fingers. I would honestly plan another trip to Newport Beach just to eat here again!
The atmosphere is lively and cheerful, making it a fantastic spot for watching sports or just enjoying a good time. It can get quite noisy, but the service is excellent, and the food is good. However, I found it unusual that they don't serve vinegar with the fish and chips, especially for an Irish pub.
