On the main Runaway Bay Road sits MalAy Paradise in the Runaway Bay Marina.A Malaysian/ Chinese restaurant with great reasonably priced food. Extensive menu with degrees of chilli hotness ( 1-4) ! Plenty of parking in pleasant waterfront location. Owner at our lunchtime visit was waiter / chef as not too busy! 5 of us.Lemon chicken / rice was delicious and the lychees and ice cream.Chow main tasty we were informed .One just had an entree of dim sims - very tasty.Large choice of menu BYO . No bottle shop in area, so go prepared . $1.00 corkage each person dining.Lunchtime specials at $ 11.00
We are visiting the Gold Coast and friends said that they would take us to a their favourite restaurant. We think it is now our favourite restaurant on the Gold Coast. The owner Ronnie Soong is the Chef. He is very gifted. The food looked good, the aroma was tantalising and the taste was 15 out of 10 (that's the rating my Wife gave him)
The food was nice but a little dry. Did NOT like having to order a meal by a child. Watched them re set a table. Holding cutlery from the top and putting it on the table was not a good look. Can't say we will return. Have a favourite Malaysian Restaurant on the coast and they beat these guy's hands down. Sorry guy's.
Have been here many times with my friends and they all just love the place food is great never been disappointed in anything I have ever ordered and the prices are very reasonable can't say enough just go there you will love it

We have had a lovely meal with friends at this restaurant. Food good flavours, obviously fresh, decent portions, and good price. Would love to return. Service was very good and attentive.
We are back in Queensland and the first night we usually go to this Restaurant with our Queensland friends. The food is always good, very friendly service and the prices are reasonable.

Very friendly staff. Quiet location. Very clean and well presented. We only ordered take away. Good sized portions. Reasonable prices. Recommended.

Great quite authentic Malay food. Fantastic Roti Chenai and all dishes have great balance of flavour. Great place for group dinners.
We went there for my wife's birthday, we had a great meal at a reasonable price. The satay sticks are awesome
