This restaurant offers some of the best Taiwanese dishes, particularly dumplings, in Southern California! While they do have a selection of Cantonese dishes, those can be inconsistent. The portion sizes are generous. I highly recommend their steamed dumplings (the original ones are great, but the spicy variety is just average), beef pancake, salty fish fried rice, and soup dumplings. The Cantonese wontons are decent, but the broth is simply chicken broth without the expected 大地魚, which was a letdown. As for kid-friendliness, it's not the best option; only bring toddlers who can sit well in a chair. Booster seats are available, but they don't feel very secure.
Waited in line for my number to be called for 40 min. After having numbers ahead of me being called, we checked and looks like we had been crossed out on their list. Clearly our party of 3 got crossed out to a party of 2. We tried to explain that we have been crossed out without being called on and the staff said they couldn't do anything and to add ourselves to list again at the very end adding another 40min to our wait. No restuarant with a B on their window is worth waiting for more than 1 hour.
The servers expect a tip so much so that if you leave 1$ they will hound you out the door asking why they weren’t given a tip. Completely outrageous and out of hand the type of behavior that was shown to my VERY pregnant daughter. Food is good but the entitlement ruins it for myself and consumers everywhere. We will not be giving our money to this food chain. We will let our friends and family know as well so that they won’t have to succumb to this trashy behavior.
The chow mein and French-style sirloin were both absolutely delightful. We also sampled the shrimp fried rice, which was equally delicious. We will definitely be returning. The seating arrangement operates on a self-service basis: you indicate your party number, and then jot down the corresponding number on a scrap piece of paper. This number will be called when your table is ready.

This restaurant may be a bit of a hidden gem, but the food is excellent. The wait times can be a bit lengthy on weekends, although they aren't as long as they were before the pandemic.
The food tasted great, the service was good. But whoever is using gobs of MSG needs to cut back a bit. I had a headache and was super thirsty a 1/2 hour after we left.
I had dinner at this place today. Food is good. Service was worst; especially the choppy and short waitress was VERY RUDE.
