We were looking for a brunch place near us and for Saturday brunch we decided to have brunch at Mama's Kitchen. It is an amazing diner with lots of seating options. We were seated as soon as we entered the diner. We were greeted by our server Lina with breakfast and lunch menus. After browsing through the menus we decided to start the order with Hot Tea and Coffee, along with French Fries, Maggies Skillet, Vegetarian Omelette and Banana Walnut Pancake. We first got our coffee and tea along with French Fries. The coffee and tea was hot and was freshly brewed. The french fries was also tasty and delicious. It was crispy and freshly made. We decided to visit another place that is here forever. It is called Mama's Kitchen on Florida Avenue near Busch Blvd. I can only say that they failed! I have two scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and Hash Browns have browned the way I like them on both sides. It also came with four pieces of Texas Toast. My wife got what she called as one of the best BLTs she ever had. We'll be back soon! Support your local businesses!
Good place to eat breakfast, my wife had a Cuban breakfast sandwich and I had a cheese steak omelet. We had both ash-browns and they were good. My only complaint is that I wish there were more meat in my cheese steak omelet and the onions and paprika had been soured a little more. Otherwise the service was good, the place was clean, and the total breakfast was good.
Comfort food with a little Greek inclination. I tried her fish sandwich. It was delicious! Crispy coating around a moist delicate fillet. It came with her homemade mom? Sauce, a pleasant change from the tar. The place is clean, staff friendly and service fast. I saw some Burger choices that look good. I'm back to try.
