Came here for dinner one night, and have to say that I was very impressed with the food. It’s very unassuming given its location tucked away in a mini mall. The pasta is amazing and very fresh. Service is very friendly they brought food in a timely manner. Atmosphere was nice it’s straddled between being a casual and fancy Italian restaurant. Outdoor seating got a little bit noisy towards the end of the evening. I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The pasta sauce was the best I've ever had, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The strawberry shortcake for dessert was delicious! There is street parking available and the restaurant is clean. The service was excellent. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 and the service a 5. The atmosphere was good, I would give it a 4 out of 5. I recommend trying the bruschetta. The price per person is between $30-50 for dinner.
Came with a large group (10 for dinner. The service was great and our servers were professional and attentive. The most difficult thing about this dining experience was selecting only one entree the food was delicious. Provided the size of the reservation, it was a quaint dining experience. We were in a small dining room near the back of the restaurant. The tables were adequately spaced apart and it was a very comfortable experience throughout.
I highly recommend Mama Assunta's as a fantastic local restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. Some recommended dishes to try are the lasagna, Chicken Marsala, salad, shrimp risotto, bruschetta, saltimbocca, and polenta sfritta. The price per person ranges from $50 to $100 for dinner.

Bread was good, pasta was al dented not mushy. Two pasta dishes at our table had too much sauce! But not the orrechiete with broccoli rabe sausage . It was tasty had a perfect amount of ingredients. Salad was served with entrees. Decor is a little dated, but place was full on a Saturday night. Worth a visit! I have been a customer at this restaurant for nearly three decades. I was shocked when I discovered that the menu had been completely revamped. I don't understand why they would change a successful formula. The food was still delicious, but it wasn't quite what I had anticipated. I hope they bring back some of the classics.
This restaurant is incredible. My family has celebrated many special occasions here and we have never been let down. The food and service are exceptional. We dined in for dinner and everything was top-notch. The service, atmosphere, and food all get a perfect 5-star rating.
This place is always great! It reminds me of Italy in that they will make you something off menu if they have the ingredients. For example, my wife has a restricted diet and they always make her some chicken marsala without any flour so it's gluten free

I've been visiting my niece confirmation party there. Eating was excellent from appetizers to pasta to main course, everything was served hot. kellnerservice was exemplary. would be happy for everything from partys to intimate dinners.
