All four members of my party had different dinner entrees (scampi, house made sausage peppers, chicken mushroom risotto and shrimp asparagus risotto) and all were very good. Fresh, hot and tasty. Portions were very generous, and prices were reasonable. Our server was very friendly, and attentive. We dined on the outdoor balcony overlooking Paint Creek. It was lovely and peaceful. We all agreed that dinner was great and we will be back. We were all also amazed that the restaurant was not busier.
I highly recommend this restaurant! The food was delicious. The salads were fresh and full of flavor. I ordered the lamb chops and my husband had the lasagna. It's clear that the owner of this restaurant takes pride in the food they serve. Even though we live just a few minutes away, we had never eaten here before. This is now our favorite place to eat in Rochester. We will definitely be returning.
It was very disappointing that they were closed. It's unacceptable to allow online reservations when a restaurant is not open. We drove thirty minutes to have dinner with our out-of-town guests, only to discover that the restaurant was closed. We had to spend an additional 45 minutes finding another restaurant on a busy Saturday night.
Honestly. We've been here 3 times. EVERY time the food was great. BUT, the wait staff was extremely slow. We waited twice, YES TWICE, as long for our salads and main courses than anywhere else I've ever been. (except indian restraunts) Not a fan of anyway! I think Momma's just needs an attentive manager. Worst service and bad food. The calamari was chewy and made me gag. The pasta was hard, the waitress left mid shift and didn't say she was leaving. I asked for chicken on my ravioli and they brought out a plain chicken breast on the side after I had eaten half my ravioli. This place needs to shut down. Horrible.
Lovely location..overlooking Paint Creek, quiet, excellent food, friendly service……we were not rushed …..spent at least 2 hours …..we were a group 7 …...
Our waitress was either drunk, stupid or stupid drunk. This pretty much ruined the evening. The creek side deck was really nice though.
Had the veal piccata was good. Not the. Eat ice ever had but not the worst. Place was empty. Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant is permanently closed, despite accepting reservations. Absolutely absurd!!
