This restaurant has usually been a reliable choice with great food, but after my experience today, I won’t be returning. I understand that it’s Lent, but that’s no secret, and they were clearly unprepared. I started trying to call from an hour away and just kept getting a busy signal, indicating poor call service. I then attempted to order online, but that service was down as well. When I finally arrived, I spent 20 minutes looking for a parking spot. Once inside, I stood in line for 25 minutes, only to be told that my order wouldn’t be ready for an hour and a half. They've lost my business, and I’d advise anyone considering picking up food from here to think twice, as this level of service...
Arrived at Fontainebleau State Park early afternoon to spend the weekend and wanted boiled seafood for supper. Searched in Google for nearest seafood market. Took a chance and went to Northlake Seafood. We were not disappointed! Crawfish were huge and seasoned well. Loved the little extras of celery and garlic in with the boil! Will definitely pay them another visit when we go back.
I enjoyed a wonderful lunch there today! The staff is friendly, and the place is spotlessly clean. The seafood is delicious and reasonably priced. They offer boiled shrimp, crawfish, and crabs, along with fantastic po'boys, gumbo, corn crab bisque, and seafood plates. I highly recommend it! The new owners have been in charge for three weeks. Definitely go check it out—it's amazing!

The BEST Oyster PoBoy and Thin Fried Catfish that I have EVER EATEN ! And I grew up and still frequent NewOrleans and all around there ! I grew up eating seafood at West End’s Fitzgerald’s and Fontana’s ! I have crabbed in Lake Pontchartrain and have fished in all our lakes and rivers for 59 years now ! Believe me, I know great seafood and this was SENSATIONAL !! ????
