Had dinner last night with my gf and an old friend of ours who lives in Texas. Dinner was outstanding as was the service by Clay. The restaurant was not full on a Tuesday and the table was not going to be flipped for a 2nd service. So we had no time pressure constraints. We had 3 bottles of wine between us and were there over three hours. Three wonderful hours. I had the pompano witrh crabmeat and beurre blanc (my go to dish there). The girls split a ribeye and potatoes augrautin. we all split a piece of key lime pie.

Albeit I’ve diner at 527 before, this was the first time booked thru OpenTable. I happily drive over an hour to dine here! And will again! Best around!

Andrew was our server and he was very personable. His attention to our party was exceptional! You have a gem of an employee in Andrew that’s for sure.

As usual, the food drinks and atmosphere were wonderful. You can put their turtle soup up against anyone in New Orleans.
