Not good? We were Saturday 9 July. No person in this restaurant made sure that the order was correct or wrong. Margaritas were very watered. Bartender didn't care that it was the wrong drink order. She shrunk her shoulders and put them on the table. It didn't matter. When the wrong food was brought, we told the guy. We ordered a chicken dish. He was waiting for us to take the beef. When he realized that we wouldn't accept it, he turned around and frustrated. Half the people in our party didn't get what they ordered. We paid for food that never brought it to the table and at that point we were not interested because we just wanted to get out. The food was simply beaten up and was not appetizi...
We had a party of eight and when we were given the check we were told that there 's a policy of one check, one payment method only. We were unable to split the check eight ways and use separate credit cards. There was no notice of this policy and no one mentioned it at any point. When ordering, two of the party said we 're on the same check and the server did not indicate that wasn 't possible due to our party size. The margaritas were weak and flavorless. The food was barely edible. Needless to say, everyone in our party will be telling friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, social media, and strangers to avoid this restaurant 's poor quality food, beverages, and service.
Mi Mamacita?s , translation for little mama, hot mama or mom?s, serves food hot and fresh from the kitchen -Mexican Style. Their prices are very reasonable compared to local Mandeville restaurants. MiMamacita?s has outdoor seating with misty fans that connects to the bar area which is creatively painted. It?s very colorful and and a great lunch spot with the girls or last minute lunch with the family. The time and depth put into the creativity of painted walls and extra seating from years passed, makes it worth the visit. The food and drinks are adequate but not the holy grail.
I had the shrimp fajita tacos for dinner, and they were fantastic! The portion was generous and very filling, so I will definitely be coming back. There was the perfect amount of shrimp in the tacos, and I really enjoyed making grilled shrimp tacos. It was refreshing to find a place that doesn’t fry the shrimp or fish, unlike so many others. My husband had the fish tacos and loved them as well! We also ordered guacamole, which was excellent—definitely a great addition to the tacos. The staff was extremely friendly, too! The restaurant has a fantastic and spacious outdoor area, making it ideal for large groups and families. The margaritas are excellent, and while the food is good, it's not extraordinary. The service is consistently reliable. However, I found the prices to be quite high. If you spend just 1 or 2 hours enjoying food and drinks with a family of five, it’s easy to reach $200 without really indulging. If the food were to reach a higher quality, the current prices would be justified.
Last night was my 3rd or 4th time here! Service was great. The music added to the ambience of the place. The people working there had a smile on their face. The food, like always, was amazing as well. If you are looking for a place with good food and good people to lift your spirits, you've found the right place. I had a long, stressful day at work so it was nice to unwind and dine at one of my favorite local restaurants ??
I hadn't visited in a few years, but I'm so glad I returned. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and they have my favorite Mexican beer, Carta Blanca! The chicken soup was fantastic. Dinner was so enjoyable that I completely forgot to take any photos. However, I have to say that the pineapple and steak tacos were not good at all!
I was driving by and noticed the cute decor outside of this restaurant, turned around and stopped in to eat. Friendly employees. Great food. Plenty of parking on the side and in the rear. Gravel parking lot, handicapped ramps and parking. The Mexican pizza with pulled beef was amazing. Réservez une table maintenant
The rice and beans are not cooked in animal products. Hooray. I had the veggie fajitas no cheese or sour cream. The beans with the green chile sauce were chef's kiss good. The chips were warm and the salsa was good. I enjoy my frozen margarita. The atmosphere is very bright and fun.
