The staff at this restaurant is excellent, and the food is delightful. I went with my family for Sunday lunch and was pleased to find that I could order a smaller portion of the Sunday dinner instead of a big main meal. This is something that many places do not allow, which I find off-putting. However, at this restaurant, Ego, they were very accommodating. The smaller portion of the main meal allowed room for a delicious pudding as well. I highly recommend this place.
We( myself and my mum) ate there for the first time today and were really impressed with the service and the food. We had the garlic mushrooms and the pate to start. Main courses were fish and chips and steak and ale pie. So fresh and piping hot!!. Pudding was creme brulee. Absolutely delicious!! We also had lime and lemonade to drink which was lovely, cold and fresh. We look forward to going there again. Well done Ego!!!!
The restaurant offers 2 cocktails for £12. The meals are advertised as 'A la Carte', but don't be misled - the portions are actually quite large. I couldn't finish all of mine. The menu offers a wide selection of choices. The service is quick and the staff is friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. I would recommend this place, and it is advisable to book a table in advance.
I love coming to this restaurant for their great festive afternoon tea. They have good COVID safety measures in place which was comforting for my elderly neighbor who joined me for a festive treat. The afternoon tea was a good value and we enjoyed it so much that we had to pack some to take home because there was too much food. Réservez une table maintenant

I will definitely be coming back for more festive afternoons at this restaurant, as they have implemented good COVID safety measures. My elderly neighbor also had a great time at our festive gathering. The afternoon tea was good value and there was so much food that we had to take some home with us.
