The staff at this restaurant is excellent, and the food is delightful. I went with my family for Sunday lunch and was pleased to find that I could order a smaller portion of the Sunday dinner instead of a big main meal. This is something that many places do not allow, which I find off-putting. However, at this restaurant, Ego, they were very accommodating. The smaller portion of the main meal allowed room for a delicious pudding as well. I highly recommend this place.

We( myself and my mum) ate there for the first time today and were really impressed with the service and the food. We had the garlic mushrooms and the pate to start. Main courses were fish and chips and steak and ale pie. So fresh and piping hot!!. Pudding was creme brulee. Absolutely delicious!! We also had lime and lemonade to drink which was lovely, cold and fresh. We look forward to going there again. Well done Ego!!!!

"Two cocktails for £12. The meals are a la carte and well-loved, but don't be fooled into thinking the portions are small because they are not - I couldn't finish mine. The menu has a large selection of options. The service is fast with friendly staff. The atmosphere is beautiful. I would recommend booking a table in advance."
