Had the carnitas plate with a side of guacamole/chips. Everything was consistently flavorless. In particular, the guacamole and salsa was tasteless. I'm accustomed to finding great holes in the wall with terrific ethnic comfort food. This was not one of those finds.
We're lucky to have 4 solid Mexican spots near/on San Mateo Ave but Mar y Mar and Mi Durango are my go-tos. The food is great and the Micheladas are reason enough to choose this place over any of the other restaurants in the area.
Maybe we didn't order house special, which seemed to be seafood. We had tacos and enchiladas that were average. There were a lot of families eating here. Réservez une table maintenant
If you like micheladas (beer and tomato spiced) and good seafood you need to try this place. They have many different seafood plates and soups.
Many years, this place has been great. Both food and service. Don't forget to tip the mariachi that come and go! Good for big parties.
What a disappointment! I had beef nachos. Bagged chips, pretty tasteless food. Pretty presentation; lousy food. Never again.
Mar y Mar Taqueria has some amazingly authentic Mexican food. Their service is fantastic and the prices are good. Réservez une table maintenant
