I am not Haitian but I'm pregnant and have random cravings. I like some Haitian foods, I just have no idea what a lot of the foods are called. I just wanted rice and beans, so I showed them a picture of what I wanted that's posted on their site. The first lady seemed to have an attitude with me because I didn't know what the food was called and couldn't speak Creole. Rolled her eyes like she couldn't be bothered with me. Wanted to give 1 star, but just giving 2. Here is a list of some the pros/ cons I’ve noticedPros: better pricing for size/ portionFood is hotCons: rice wasn’t good at all, after 3 bites it did not have a good taste. The chicken wasn’t that great either. Not sure how they prep their food but everything seemed dull and not tasty at all.
The food is delicious, but the long wait for my meal and the disrespectful attitude of the staff when taking orders really detract from the experience. It's almost becoming not worth the visit anymore.
The staff displayed racist behavior, laughing in the faces of my friends and me. The food was lacking in flavor and unappetizing. I would not recommend coming here!

It feels just like home. The staff is incredibly sweet, kind, and attentive, and they prepare the most delicious food! I absolutely love Marckys!
I loved it. The food was bomb and after i was done eating, i was so stuff and feeling good ?.
The fritay was disappointing, and the meat lacked flavor. What a shame!
