Marcos Northside Grill

11/19/22 This was our first time visiting this outstanding restaurant, and it won’t be the last time. Upon entering this checkerboard table clothed room, you get the feel of an old country cafe. The menu is simple but complete for many different tastes. Since it was our first time, we ordered their house Black Angus burger and French fries. They were delicious and juicy! We loved the fresh cut, skin on French fries. Whiles waiting for our food we enjoyed a cocktail generously poured. As a treat Marco brought us a wonderful sample of their shrimp cocktail with cocktail sauce and horseradish. It was a jumbo size shrimp and it was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back for their shrimp cocktail. As we drank and ate the restaurant started to get busy, which we were happy to see. Marco’s Northside Grill is definitely a real find, take it from a former chef and restaurant critic. I hear that there is outside seating under a tent in the rear and some seating in the front. Don’t waste your time and money. Came in on Saturday night for the restaurant to be out of crab meat, steak and medallions. Waited for more than half hour before the appetizer (chicken wings) came with the entrees. Wings were not hot at all. It seems that the new staff is trying their best, but we won’t be going back there. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

You can’t find a better burger anywhere else. I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere and attention to detail. Always remember to order the cheese curds. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

Mardi Gras season hss started! I'm eating a fabulous jambalaya, cooked on premises. Marco LOVES to sponsor local live musicians. He is such a great and welcoming host.
