I see some of the reviews for the food and I wonder if it’s just what they ordered because we were all thoroughly impressed with what we ordered. I got the dip sampler which was great. It had zesty cheese, eggplant dip, tzatziki and hummus. The pita bread was perfectly toasted! It all tasted delightful. The lamb was fresh and obviously charcoal grilled. It did take the waitress quite a while to come over but she was very apologetic and great. We got cheesy bread with marinara sauce too. This marinara sauce tasted like it was fresh made and not the factory manufactured pizza sauce. I honestly did not expect this place to be good at all based on the demographics and set up. The specials are first rate! Go on a Weds night and take advantage of the buttery steamed lobster with 2 sides or the generous lamb chop on Tues with 2 sides, including a beautiful Mediterranean salad with olive, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and feta. We enjoyed ours with a 1/2 price bottle of Chianti. There are many other great items on the regular menu. I had the myo salmon, done crispy on the outside, tender on the inside with a sweet and spicy Thai chili glaze. My meal was topped off with cinnamon topped homemade rice pudding.
I had supper at Maria's in Reisterstown and had a pleasant evening. I had gotten carry out subs before but had never eaten in the dining room. It was just a little tight but not bad. I ordered Baked Ziti and my friend order Stuffed Shrimp. Food was tasty and the portions were large. I plan on eating in the dining room more often.
Their happy hour is nice. Every day. Not fancy it always busy. The prices increased significantly for the food specials in the past year (sort of missed the Covid in tease) but the drink specials are still good. If you're looking for god drinks and some decent finger foods, but MRiS for the nicely timed happy y every day! Réservez une table maintenant
I enjoy coming to Maria's, however management need to invest in additional wait staff. Poor Bartender is doing his best to serve everyone, but truthfully extremely inconvenient for those on lunch break! I recommend going elsewhere if you don't have over an hour to spend at lunch.
