I have been coming to this place for many years. About 20 years now. I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff and the food is very good...I have been around the world and have had plenty of dining experience. It's a,perfect little romantic dinner place, and if you have a larger party you may be tight, but it's worth it. I'm picky. I order things not on the menu. If they have the ingredients...they have done a great job in the past. It's not a huge place so please make a reservation and enjoy!!! Dietary restrictions: I AM SUCH A PICKY EATER. I HAVE ASKED FOR THINGS THAT WERE NOT ON THE MENU AND THEY HOOKED ME UP!!! AMAZING!!! GREAT FOOD, SERVICE, AND THE PERFECT LITTLE ROMANTIC...
Finally made it to Nonna Maria's. Went for my birthday. Had high expectations from people we know that have been and current reviews. It did not disappoint. Definitely might be Italian restaurant in Metro Detroit. Food was phenomenal. The service was on point which is extremely important as I always say poor service can ruin a five-star meal. Amazing and unique environment. Feels like home in there. Service is spectacular. Food is absolutely made with high end ingredients and cooked to perfection. No overcooked rubbery seafood or dried out chicken or veal here. Everything was tender and perfect. Dessert was incredible as well. I couldn’t ask for anything else in terms of a dining experience. Excellent. The atmosphere is quaint and the dining room is small, so I recommend making reservations well ahead. The food was incredibly good and, while some dishes we sampled were surprisingly different from our expectations, they certainly exceeded them. The service was great and the menu varied enough to accommodate differing tastes without being overwhelming. Réservez une table maintenant
We had a great time celabrating our anniversary. Patrick was very attentive and entertaining. It's been several years since we were there, and enjoyed ourselves as if we come there often. Went for the veal mare )my favorite and cannot find anyone doing that sauce), The sauce was amazing but the veal was heavily coated, very small filets and not pounded. They used to sell with shrimp on top we had to pay and have it put on. So the sauce was worth the drive but we were very disappointed in the veal preparation . Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
