Marie Callender's has fallen off my list of favorite restaurants. Our party of 23 made a reservation, but when we arrived, they were not prepared for us. They lost our reservation and did not have us on their list, despite us updating the number of guests a few days earlier. The service was mediocre, with long waits for drinks and repetitive requests for assistance. The food quality varied, with some enjoying their meals while others found them over seasoned or overcooked. They were also out of some desserts we had hoped to enjoy. I went in for Thanksgiving dinner. My server was right on it! Always checking on me and catered to my little extra whims of whipped cream and extra gravy. I'm giving the food a two-star because it was cold when delivered and the mashed potatoes had huge lumps. But I understand it's a busy holiday schedule but if they're going to try and do just to only selections on the menu then they should strive to at least always make sure that the plated meal is hot. I heard the group behind me send back their plates because they were cold as well. Overall it tasted excellent as expected and the pumpkin pie superb!
I remember then changing ownership quite some time back so despite all the other marie calendars closing we asked just to double check and yes. They are privately owned so the chances of them closing are very low, we always get the pie and pie combo it's always so good, there's also certain times where u can the pies go on sale but I can't quite remember usually the grandparents let us know about it but definitely great price and great food around the board.
I stopped by to grab some coffee while my cousin caught up with a friend he hadn't seen in years. The waitress was trying her best during the busy time of day, and the other staff were helpful too. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious. I only wish I didn't gain weight so easily, or I would have had more. It had been a while since I had been to Marie Callendars, as there aren't as many locations in the Los Angeles area as there used to be.

Marie Calendars is the best. Their food is always as wonderful as you would expect it to be. We sat for a very long time waiting for our food when a lady approached our table apologizing for the delay. They hurried our food out to apologetically and even provided a discount to our bill! We didn't complain or ask for anything. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.
My grandson and I went to this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the open-faced Turkey sandwich and he had the Turkey melt with tater tots. Both dishes were delicious! For dessert, we shared a slice of lemon cream cheese pie, which was absolutely delicious.
I really adore Marie Callender's, but since they no longer have any locations in the South Bay, I had to buy 2 whole pies and 2 slices of different flavors.
I had a very positive experience at this restaurant. The waiter provided excellent service and the food was quite enjoyable.
