these are the best pizza shops in Australia. the pizzas have many toppings, I go in the rule for the big size, and then order a seafood or superior. they wait a little longer than most places, well, they must fill in the regular 1.5...inches thick in the middle! but the result of the order they place is always pleasant, I was never canceled, and today's pizza was no different. Could not wait to get the big yellow box home, just had to have a piece and loved it! maries pizza, bige over the gold coast, buy one and enjoy a real pizza!
Maries Pizza are the YUMMIEST! Great variety of toppings, sizes are for hungry people, and they don't skimp on anchovies! I don't like there waiting area (opposite movie World), it's trashy and looks likes someone's side garage that they don't care about but I don't...go there to dine-in. With pizza that yummy, it's buy it and bolt! (OK: I always try to check out the cleanliness of the back before I buy. It's what I would expect from a pizza place)So all's good!
I recently visited Marie's Pizza in Runaway Bay and it has to be one of the best takeout pizza places on the coast, if not the best I've tried on the east coast. The base dough is perfect with just the right amount of crunch and chew. They are very generous with their toppings without going overboard. The pizzas are wonderfully tasty and reasonably priced with a great variety to choose from. It's definitely worth a try!
Sorry blokes but I am afraid I have had better Dominoes. Your pizza had NO tomato, No Mozarella, and no anchovies, even though I requested them. The so called upgrade to Premium was a joke. We had the seafood delight and I have to say...there was nothing delightful about it. The base tasted and looked like it came out of a packet and generally speaking the whole experience was a horrible one. I will not be back.

I recently discovered Marie's Pizza while driving in Southport. I ordered a margherita pizza and was very pleased with the result. The pizza arrived in about ten minutes and tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly, especially Zac who was great at attending to customers. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is well-maintained.
I just found this Marie's pizza while driving in southport. I ordered a margarita pizza and the outcome was really good. Hit pizza came just in about ten minutes and tastes really good. Staff is really good. Specially the staff Zac is exceptionally good at serving the customers. Very friendly. The place is Recomended.
Marie's Pizza used to be a beloved icon on the Gold Coast, but today it has lost its unique charm. The pizzas are still loaded with toppings, but they now have a more generic supermarket taste. It's a shame, as it used to be the best pizza around.
This pizza place is known for the fact they put a great amount of toppings on their pizzas. Just the attitude of the staff member at Runaway bay can sometimes not be the best but their pizza is still great.

We have had Pizza here a few times, once we even had them deliver to our Boat at Sanctuary Cove, it has always been good especially the Prawn ones.
