In our search for nice steaks we somehow ended in an Italian restaurant - not something we usually do. We were, however, so glad we did - so much that we kept coming back during out our short stay in Cairns. We had two dishes: the wagyu rump steak with a mash of fennel, and, the rib eye steak with green beans, which we highly recommend. Wetasted several kinds of Shiraz wine - each one better than the previous - even a Shiraz rosé with our "twisted" desert. Sorry guys, I've read your other reviews and I'd have to say I can't agree. There's no LOVE in your food! Maybe it's because I'm told that the owners are French and so is the chef? (Not very Italian) however, our meals last week were missing out on that good old Italian love and comfort we all expect.We told our waiter we were NOT in a hurry, yet all meals were served like there was a fire coming. All meals were tasteless and yet were far from cheap eats. I was a deaf customer at the restaurant yesterday. The food was excellent and I was very impressed with the approach of the new friendly Hungarian (or Bulgarian?) staff who tried his best to communicate with me, served me food and drinks. His newly experience as a waiter throughout the night, was very remarkable. Look forward to meeting him again when I return.
子ども2人はkids menu をそれぞれ注文し、一人はマルガリータピザ、もう一人はボロネーゼのペンネ料理が出てきたらびっくり！どちらも大人の量でした。大人メニューよりもリーズナブルな上に食後のアイスクリーム(チョコとバニラから選べる)がついていて、得した気分でした。日本語メニューや日本語を話せる人はいなかったですが、店員さんがとても親切で、英語があまりわからない私たちは何回も聞き直したりしましたが、いやな顔をせずに話してくれました。
Very nice Italian restaurant set along the strip on the wharf under the harbour lights hotel. Good variety of food. I had the veal and was very nice.
Friendly staff and very good location with nice views over the inlet. I enjoyed the meal but the wine list was a bit restricted and a bit expensive.

Great food, great mojito, great staff, great atmosphere. Wish I could eat there again-shame we are now back in Melbourne. Loved it!
Waited an hour for dessert on our honeymoon, after they gave us the dessert menu never to return & we will do the same.
