Stop by here for lunch on occasion and just constantly disappointed. Why is the food so much worse than the other sister Mario's locations? Core marinara sauce tastes straight from a can.... Pizza is either undercooked or scalding hot never in the middle.... Knots are soggy. Why do I come here, you ask? Mainly because it's a lot less busy than the other spots in the area like Victors which is great when I'm in a rush. The dining room is clean and the workers are friendly. As a big fan of the other locations, someone needs to look into why it's so different.
Beware I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and got a medium size looking pizza like from dominos, I order from there like every 2 weeks so I know the size I always get and when I complained they said that's the size they sell for take out all along which is not true at all. $26 too!! The pizza and pasta were absolutely delicious. The cheese pizza was probably one of the best pizzas I've had. Perfect crust and tastes. The vodka pasta was amazing and such a generous serving I had to take some home. The staff were typical New Yorkers in their attitude a bit gruff. They were friendly enough though, helpful.

Used to love this place until they repeatedly gave me burnt pizza. You really saw this and thought “Perfect! Let’s serve this” that’s crazy.
