Market Place Fisheries

We always make a detour to visit this fish and chip shop even if it is quite a detour!! We live in Wetherby and have the famous Wetherby Whaler but these fish and chips are the best and the chap and his wife are lovely as are the rest of the staff.Will be out and about on the East Coast shortly and of course home via Market Weighton!!

Spend a lot of time in Market Weighton but have only just realised this place existed. Will be back, the are staff friendly and food is lovely, well cooked proper chips and beautiful fresh fish in crispy batter. Fantastic value, considerably less than another place in Market Weighton but equally good quality.

Excellent, Covid19 restrictions in place. We each ordered Haddock and chips to take out, good sized portions, reasonably priced and enjoyable.
