Exceptional good potato dishes, such as roasted (not deep roasted) and baked potatoes. I don't know a better place for that. The other dishes are all very hearty German dishes from the region as well as mostly good to very good. Great place for travellers to taste the cuisine from the region. Now the kicker comes when you're out, you wouldn't expect to find good food here as it's a football (FC Köln) club pub. So the atmosphere is a little shady. Another problem I would like to see is the smell from the baths, which sometimes finds it way into the dining room. If you go here, you must also consider a longer waiting period, but the great food is worth it. The prices are very fair. BTW. There is a daily meal offered for lunch only for 5-5,50€. Usually it's a good choice. PS: To show up on the great food, I chose 5 stars, although there are some shortcomings.

Awesome place! Great AUTHENTIC German food. Staff are super friendly, speak English well enough,and are very welcoming to ex-pats. We were there on a Sunday night that included a rowdy footballer crowd. Lots of fun and everyone enjoyed beers and a good time! Highly recommend!

Small, local, typical German restaurant. Very good and friendly service. The daily lunch menu was a large, very tasty and affordable dish (5.50€). Very recommended.

Lovely place! Very lively atmosphere, the food was excellent. The waitress was really kind to us.
