Walked in at 8pm on a Friday night. Ordered pizza, salad and wine at the counter. Only red wine choice was a Nebbiolo which was in the fridge and you have to buy the whole bottle. Umm, ok. I'm furious. Marley G's is good pizza but this is the 2nd time Slice has completely destroyed my order. I have two kids and the order is so off they don't have remotely enough to eat. I gave you a second chance... but never again. I love your food Marley G's, but Slice... I'll never trust you again. FURIOUS OBVIOUSLY. NEGATIVE 50 stars.
Fantastic pizzeria! This is my favorite place for gourmet pizza in Alameda. I'm a huge fan of their cheesesteak Stromboli. I'm disappointed they took the chicken pesto pizza by the slice off the menu, as it was my favorite.

The crust and cheese combinations are generally decent (though not exceptional) for New York-style pizza, but the sauce lacks personality and uniqueness. It's only slightly better than Arinell, as the sauce complexity simply isn't present.
The pizza was great, but the person at the counter today seemed rather indifferent. They weren’t rude or disrespectful, just lacking enthusiasm. I’ll definitely return for the pizza, though.
