TLDR: Overpriced food (avocado on toast was a single untoasted slice of bread with avocado cream, nothing else on the plate £8.50), of mediocre quality (avocado cream was so salty it was nearly inedible) and unprofessional service (refused to refund or even discount a meal which was returned after a couple of bites because it was too salty to be edible). Long story: Went there for a casual lunch with family, 4 of us. Ordered a variety of food, although we were the only other customers in the place and the only other table had finished eating and thus were not expecting food, our simple order (avocado on toast, eggs on cream, chicken thigh and salad) took over half an hour to be ready. Came for breakfast. Live locally, but only second visit. Was barely greeted, despite being first customers of the day. Sausage brioche was fine but over priced. Two mini sausages for £8 Bacon sandwiches were better value as more filling for £7.50 Coffee was very poor quality. Burnt taste and I believe semi skimmed milk for a flat white which is not correct. Four staff but had to ask them to take our order. All in all, overpriced, unfriendly and mediocre food. There are many better options locally.

We were invited here to bring 2 families together the day before the wedding. There were 22 of us in the upstairs private room. Drinks and Canapes were followed by a fantastic and amazing assortment of food. Roasted potatoes with veg, bean casserole, fish, braised lamb shanks to name a few all utterly delicious and served piping hot, huge portions and the drinks flowed

really nice eating very fresh and healthy and cooked for perfection. many dishes for choice, cooked with local seasonal products. the restaurant is beautifully decorated and it is a great place to relax.

We had a small breakfasts with delicious Tee and Coffee. They have a great salad buffet also for takeaway (in paper boxes)
