I came here yesterday evening with my 8 year old nephew, Sister and Dad. We had not booked but they said they could fit us in for an hour. It’s such a lovely restaurant with a great ambiance. I wouldn’t say a Saturday evening is great for bringing kids, it seemed more like an adult place but not sure what the rest of the week is like. My Sister and I loved the music although I’m not sure my Dad could hear us talking as he kept saying pardon but it didn’t matter. The ambiance is really nice, it’s quite dark inside with a candlelit environment which makes me also think it would be a great place to go on a date. we had heard that this is on the best kebab in the south east shortlist, so had to come with for a late Mother's Day celebration. we booked, but at 5 o'clock on Sunday, probably not. until my children grow bigger, we generally have no appetizers. here we have. the carburized otopus was so fleshy that he had the consistency of tender hen that had not eaten this quality before. when we came here to taste the famous kebabs, I could not really choose an salate (although this is crunchy and fresh). I usually end up with half a plate and as such feel inflated when I do not leave here. I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants in London and I have to say that this ranks at the top. The chicken was extremely soft and juicy, the lamb chops and lamb sish were cooked to perfection and the Adana had interesting herbs. Overall the meat was very juicy. I’d recommend mixed grill as the main and the Hummus with Lamb as the starters. Also their garlic and Chili sauce was very good!
very delicious food with great weekly lunch menu. the food was delicious and came in very generous portions. would just say that the price for drinks quite steep £ 3.50 for a soft drink, tee or coffee. Overall, here would definitely visit again as the dinge were clean, well presented and delicious.
I enjoy it every time I come here. Visited recently for a quick lunch with hubby and it was amazing despite social distancing measures in place. We shared a starter and 1 main and still had left overs! Staff are excellent and food is definitely delicious. Thanks again Meze Woodford
