We three gluttoneers invaded this delightful eatery to celebrate my wife 's, Angela 's birthday last Tuesday night, and it was better than great. We were welcomed into an inviting ambience of romantic lighting, light tiles and coloured walls, and shown to our favourite window table. Amidst the polite murmer of chat and laughter from diners already there, and the lovely background music, accompanied with a perfectly concocted Aperol Spritz and a Pornstar Martini, we made our selection from a varied menu, especially when you include their specials ' board. Three of us food enthusiasts visited this fantastic restaurant on Sunday, and we were not disappointed. The decor has remained the same: romantic lighting, light tiles, and prints on the walls. We were warmly greeted and taken to our table. We have gotten to know the staff at Nino's over the years, and it feels like meeting up with old friends. My two companions and I visited this wonderful restaurant on Sunday to celebrate my birthday, and we were not disappointed. The decor remains the same: light tiles, romantic lighting, and warm prints on the walls. We were greeted warmly and the conversation and laughter began right away. We enjoyed Aperol Spritz and a Pornstar Martini as we perused the menu, including the specials board. We went to Nino’s last month and had a really delicious meal. We don’t visit this restaurant that often, but we received a warm welcome from the waiters there when we arrived. Whilst looking at the menu and the specials board I had a very well made Cosmopolitan cocktail whilst my other half had a gin and tonic. We then both had the mango granchio, which is a really tasty starter consisting of mango and fresh crab, which we had on a previous occasion and enjoyed so much we had already decided to have this again if it was on the menu this time. I have reviewed this restaurant numerous times each time it gets better and better. today 11/06/2023 it was my great pleasure to go again with my wife for our close friends 60th diamond anniversary as on every occasion it is the best restaurant we have attended the welcome is fantastic staff the best nothing is too much trouble excellent food cooked and served to perfection I have recommended so many people who come away as we do and repeatedly go again some travelling a long distance. I strongly advise people to go and like us you will certainly go again top marks to James and his wonderful staff regards Stan and Carol Davis
The interior of the restaurant was very nice and the service was good. However, we were surprised to be charged £1 per bread roll that was already on the table when we arrived - it felt a bit cheeky. We ended up paying £460 for 6 people, plus a £45 service charge. Unfortunately, the Duck with Orange dish was disappointing as it only included a slice of orange. Additionally, we were charged £16 for a toddler's portion of chips and chicken. Overall, we won't be returning to this restaurant.
