Absolutely love it and cannot wait to go back again. Been here a while ago and tried the Omakase Menu. Food is prepared with the freshest ingredients and with lots of care. It's obvious through the way food is presented on the plate and in good sequence. We were even served with a refreshing sorbet as a palate cleanser before the pork fillet came out. Well-balanced flavours in every dish. Had heard about this restaurant and the long wait-list then suddenly got a call from a friend that she'd got in so we got our chance to try it out. I cannot fault the place. The food was excellent, as was the service. The degusation was amazing. There was a menu on the table which we all read at the beginning which lists the main parts of each course but has no detail. This means you get a surprise with each course (which I won't spoil by going into detail) as you often get completely the wrong idea about what each course will actually be like. C'est un menu saisonnier défini et consiste en environ 7 plats pour 65 $. Véritable rapport qualité prix et ensuite, vous vous sentez certainement «oh wow j'avais tout cela pour que seulement beaucoup». Le boeuf avec du maïs Trufle, Sashimi et Sushi étaient vraiment Devine. Il en fait véritablement l'un des meilleurs restaurants japonais de Perth. À ne pas manquer!!! Vous devez être déterminé à obtenir une place avec des soirées limitées et des sièges simples, avec des réservations ouverture en blocs de 3 mois à la fois. J'ai été deux fois pour deux menus saisonniers différents et je n'ai pas été déçu par un plat. En fait, le chef a complètement changé comment je ressens de certains ingrédients. Comme la soupe à l'edamame froid. Si crémeux, si naturellement doux. Le rouleau de sushi était parfaitement équilibré et étant donné que vous encouragez à manger chaque pièce généreuse en une seule bouchée, un peu de plaisir aussi.
This is so worthwhile, if you are able to get a booking, great stuff you're in luck. Bookings open in 3 months slots and fully booked out in 20 minutes, it hot stuff right now. Its a set seasonal menu and consists of around 7 dishes for $65. True value for money and afterwards you definitely feel 'oh wow I had all of that for only that much". The beef with corn trufle, Sashimi and sushi were truly devine . It genuinely makes it one of the best Japanese restaurants in Perth. Its a 3 hour setting, so bring your wine and make sure you have good company.
Not to be missed!!! You have to be determined to get a spot with limited nights and single seating, with reservations opening in 3 month blocks at a time. I've been twice for two different seasonal menus and haven't been disappointed by any dish. In fact the chef has completely changed how I feel about some ingredients. Such as the cold edamame soup. So creamy, so naturally sweet. The sushi roll was perfectly balanced and given that you are encourage to eat each generous piece in a single bite, a little fun too.
Best value and awesome tasting degustation! Simple, fresh and delicious. If you can get a booking in this tiny restaurant, consider yourself very fortunate... The sashimi is so good as is the sushi (seared salmon belly). And the desserts are getting better with every visit - the summer menu with apple and miso parfait is plate-licking-worthy. 7 courses are not huge but you won't be hungry at the end plus it's BYO for a small surcharge. This was my third time dining here and it is definitely worth the hype. The food is wonderful and for only $65pp, for the quality and amount of food you get, this is incredible value. I just wish it wasn't so hard to get into (bookings open at a certain time and you need to be ready to book when they do or you miss out). It's probably a good thing for me it isn't easy to get into, I might be there every week!
