I took the other review about the server with a grain of salt. With that said when we walked in and sat at the table instead of the bar the server I think assumed we wouldn 't be good bar customers She came over and started to take our order. I had said I wanted a cheese burger with bacon and bison meat. No onions ,no pickles. She ripped off the paper that she was writing on, said I can 't have the cheese burger it is different than the buffalo burger. I said ok can I have the Buffalo burger with cheese and bacon, no pickles, no onions. Ok. My husband orders the Marvin burger, no pickles. She never asks us what we would like to drink. This was the biggest burger I've ever had! While I wasn't initially impressed with the menu—it looked rather childish—I'm really glad I decided to give it a chance. Wendy, our server, was a delight; she was patient and very communicative. The burger was so massive that I had to cut it in half—I really couldn't finish it all. The maple ham was absolutely delicious, thick and juicy, and the speck was simply outstanding! The 1/3 lb burger was phenomenal, and the bungalow had a homemade feel to it. Overall, everything was really tasty. Just a heads up, they only accept cash, but there is an ATM available. I ordered the Demott burger.
A rustic and nostalgic experience. Food is simple and good. Beer taps were not working so we got bottles. There is gambling inside the dining room which is a bit awkward but not too distracting. It was a nice departure from the usual cookie cutter restaurant and bar scene.
my second time eating a buffaloburger. burger was big and good (but couldn't finish it) and did fools were also quite good. the environment was covered, although it was somewhat overcrowded. everything was great except the price! $20 for a burger and zets is a bit much!
