Pickle and onion accompaniment with popadoms not great, pickle like it had been stood around onion just diced onion no cucumber or anything to lift it. Starter meat chicken very dry and mostly thigh meat. Hard to eat because of dryness. Mains all looked the same brown not sure what the dishes had been thickened with more like a gravy colour filled mostly with onion again thigh meat overly salty and lots of pepper. Worse meal in a long time very upsetting for the near £100 bill. Will not be back.

friendly, clean and welcoming curry house (the employees fall over themselves to welcome them the menu does not really change ever, but there are numerous vegetarian options, most of which are vegan. (the dishes marked with butter can be fried in vegetable oil. the broth contain milk, but the paratha and roti are vegan. good place to fill for little money.

beautiful restaurant on the marina side of maryport. the personal was always super friendly. vegetarian section on the menu. Vegan options are not specifically marked, but the staff was very happy to explain what vegan/what could be made vegan. butter listed in some dressed but I was told that most dishes take place with vegetable oil.

Interesting staff, Ali the owner is very helpful in consulting what gluten is free. I've eaten here often without problems. The food is delicious, Chicken Dansak and Veg Rice is my favorite.

Maryport tandoori do not use gluten in the curries, I have many meals here and Ali will make sure everything is Gf. Unfortunately, the Naanbrot is not gf.
