I visited Mary's Pollo A La Brasa three years ago when I lived nearby and always enjoyed their food. I recommended the restaurant to everyone because of its excellent menu. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very disappointing. The place has become dirty and unhygienic. It’s heartbreaking to see the decline of what used to be the best sopa de res and Peruvian charcoal chicken. I’m giving two stars only because of the courteous service from one male cashier. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant for now.
While at Haley's laundromat, I spotted Mary's Pollo A La Brasa right next door and decided to try it out. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich with fries from their menu, along with a chicken tamale and a couple of Pepsis. The food was outstanding! The chicken tamale featured a chicken wing with the bone left in for added flavor. It was incredibly moist and packed with just the right amount of spice. The steak and cheese sandwich was delicious as well!
This is a typical Peruvian chicken place where you can get fast and tasty food. If you are on a budget definitely this is the place that you want to go to you can actually have great food and have a taste of Latin American food including that in American drinks. You can really enjoy it and you will not regret it it's a really good thing for you to have especially if you like chicken or like me if you love fried yuca
The restaurant is not truly Peruvian, and the chicken doesn’t taste anything like authentic Peruvian flavors. I was disappointed because I specifically searched for a restaurant serving Peruvian pollo a la brasa, which is why I chose to go there. They really need to tidy up the place as well.

All I can say is yum!!! The Tacos Dorados were incredibly crispy, filled with tasty chicken. The pupusas locas were absolutely amazing! The carne asada was bursting with flavor and very juicy. My only complaint would be the wait, but with a group of 18, it’s hard to blame them for that.
If you're looking for fantastic pupusas, this is the place to go because they are truly delicious. The service and atmosphere leave something to be desired, but you can't really complain once you taste the food.
Let me say first, I love the hard working folks at this place. Organic and authentic food. Friendly staff. I highly recommend if you want quite place and authentic Latin American food.
This place is fantastic! The food tastes incredible, and the staff are very welcoming. It helps to know a bit of Spanish!
