Marzi's Cafe Apfelstrudel is a cute little cafe tucked away in Coombabah shopping centre. You are welcomed by friendly staff and smiling faces. Coffee is great. Interesting mixture of cakes and strudels. For more filling fare you can chose from various dishes, goulashes, etc. I...bought a take away packed of home made biscuits, that are delicious. Just like your nana used to make.
Marzi's cafe is only small but her welcome is enormous. Beautiful food mainly cooked by Marzi and the best coffee you can ask for. A quick takeaway or coffee and a long chat you are never asked yo hurry along. Marzi also does special diner...nights and these are always booked out so be quick when you see the sign go up. this bakery was taken over by a Vietnamese family. I had not come to the bakery before she took over and decided to buy a few cakes for lunch a cold day. their cakes are simply beautiful. Baked and meat fill delicious. I'm not. a torf lover, but I will certainly get this new bakery more often. their bread and cakes look fabulous.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! It feels like a little piece of Austria right in the heart of the Gold Coast. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic taste of European cuisine and pastries. You will be pleasantly surprised to find that it is the best cafe in the area! yesterday a family-sized bacon queue coughing. very confused. the pasty at the floor was thick and raw and the filling had no taste. apricot Danish was nice enough, but definitiw not the right bake. probably not back.
such warm and welcoming people and eating is delicious. they can taste the fresh in the ingredients. can not wait to come back and try all the other wonderful sounding dishes on the menu.
I have not tried the breakfast at this restaurant yet, but Marzi makes delicious coffee when there is no Starbucks around. LOL, typical tourist problems.
Marzi and her hubby are lovely, they go out of their way to welcome customers even when they're super busy. Coffee is great and the food is YUM! Réservez une table maintenant
