Just had to pay Masala a visit on the back of so many food reviews and so glad we did First thing I’ve got to mention is how polite the son who worked the counter was with every single customer The food is cooked by his mother father and I’ve got to say the Mixed Grill Special which includes Lamb Chops, Seek Kebab, Wings and Herb Chicken layered on a Freshly naked Naan with fresh salad was to die for We also had 2 of their special curries of the day. Sadly they were out of the original food we wanted to order (it’s Friday lunch time) Apparently they don’t replenish their stocks of food throughout the week. However, what each of us did order was amazing in taste and quantity. Reasonably priced. A constant stream of takeaway orders and people dining in (it’s not a restaurant but more like a cafe) I would certainly go again and recommend to others to try for lunchtime treats. Next time I go will be a Monday

Following recommendations we tried this place out. Initial thoughts that we had walked into a takeaway but we saw 3 or 4 tables. We ordered at the counter and were given a shout when our order was ready. I had a chicken curry and my wife had a chicken tikka. We had a coke each and a portion of chips to share. Fresh, tasty food will for £14! A good idea for a lunchtime great with friendly service.

I opted for a quick takeaway order of chicken tikka wrapped in freshly baked naan bread, accompanied by salad and sauce. The meal was incredibly delicious and satisfying. I plan to return for a sit-down meal next time I'm in the area. Thank you once again to the lovely couple for their hospitality, especially as I had a long drive ahead of me. First time at masala passed at the morning and smelt the curry cooking so called back for lunch and boy was I glad we did the food and the servers was very friendly. We had a mixture of dishes and shared the them absolutely amazing curry and rice we will certainly pay you a visit on our next trip to blackpool

This restaurant serves authentic homemade Indian food, as well as delicious kebabs. The food is excellent and there is also a small cafe attached if you prefer to dine in rather than take away. If you enjoy delicious food, this place is a hidden gem.

Tucked on a side street is this indian take away try the chicken tikka melt chicken tikka in a flattened nan with melted cheese. all food is freshly cooked there is a wait but worth it Also had the chicken tikka with nan

Absolutely terrible, I will never return. The restaurant appears clean and the staff is friendly, but the food was awful. I ordered a mixed donner that was so bad, I wouldn't even give it to a pig. Réservez une table maintenant

Really nice halal food, fresh and delicious. The mixed special platter grill was bursting with flavours and great service too.Highly recommend this place. Next time I’ll be back for the karahi!

Masala very near Blackpool Central library was a fantastic day time find. Freshly cooked food to eat in or out prepared whilst you wait. Reasonable prices too.
