I'm usually not a big coffee fan, but the fresh coffee in perk is absolutely delicious. this local small business is a solid alternative to (and better than) dieucks. don't you like a coffee? also their selection of ice cream, latte, chai latte, hot kakao and tea/ice tea is excellent. all served by a friendly and helpful staff. Try a Horchata coffee or a jack’s spiced chai, they won’t regret it.
The coffee is decent, but the atmosphere at Perk has noticeably declined. I always feel rushed and the staff, mostly young kids, seem disinterested and rarely smile. The interior is run-down and shabby, in desperate need of a remodel. A good dining experience involves not just good food, but also good service and a welcoming atmosphere.
The staff is friendly and the service is quick. My new favorite drink is the Bumblebee latte with Oat Milk, which is always made perfectly. The coffee shop is well-rounded, but it would be nice if they made their own baked goods instead of buying them. Overall, I recommend this place.
Honestly I come here almost every day but recently they just haven’t been the same. The sugar free caramel and vanilla ice coffee taste exactly alike and today I asked the girl for oatmilk and she gave my something completely different my $6 drink was wasted because it was so watery.
