I would give this restaurant 10 stars! The service and atmosphere were fantastic, and the food was just the cherry on top. We came here for dinner and opted to sit outdoors on the patio. It's a stunning outdoor space, tucked away behind the walls. From the outside, you would never guess there is outdoor seating available. The combination of trees and greenery, along with the twinkling lights, created a wonderfully relaxing ambiance. I ordered the mussels in sauce with zoodles. My order initially came with spaghetti instead of zucchini noodles, but the waitress noticed the mistake right away and promptly brought me a fresh order of mussels with the correct noodles. The terrace is beautiful, and it's a family-friendly venue with a touch of elegance. They had no issues accommodating our special requests. The wine list is impressive, and the wine shop attached to the restaurant offers a great selection at various price points. As someone who works in the wine industry, I can attest to its quality! The staff member I spoke with was very knowledgeable and engaging. I ended up buying more than half a case and even received a discount. We truly enjoy the delicious food and outstanding service at this restaurant. I especially appreciate that they offer vegan options, which is great for me since I have a nice vegan spot nearby. Our family has been visiting Matteo for many years, and it’s wonderful to see a restaurant that adapts to the growing vegan community in the area, catering to the evolving dietary needs of its customers.
The food is fantastic! There’s something for everyone in the family. If my partner craves a lovely chicken or fish dish, they’ve got it. If I’m in the mood for the best burger in town, they have that too. And if my daughter wants a tasty cheese pizza, they offer that as well! I couldn’t ask for a better place.
