I love Mauro's Cafe. Why? Well, the tradition of Italian cooking is apparent for one. Their use of seasonal fresh vegetables and of course all ingredients for sure is necessary to keep up the Italian style of cooking, but also the way the do it. Wow! The influence of the California cuisine is also a positive thing...the healthy combinations of lightly sautéed vegetables and american sandwiches works well on the menu. Wines are generally good! My wife took me here for my birthday dinner. The food and service was great.The chicken Pillard is fantastic and perfectly fills the whole giant plate. The short ribs are out of this world too!

I have never had such great tasting vegtables in my entire life! Healthy super delicious food...love the menu and the decor! Me and my friend loved it and we will be back!

I've never had a bad meal here great, comfortable place for lunch. Just wish it was open for dinner, as well.
