The first time my friend and I came here, the hostess at the door made a snide comment about me looking like I was five years old. She carried herself with an air of superiority, as if she was somehow better than everyone else. I wasn't there for her attention; I just wanted to enjoy my time and spend my money, and I did nothing to deserve such a rude remark. I tried to overlook it. Then, last night, my friend and I attempted to return, and that same hostess denied my friend entry due to a supposed dress code. I know that’s not the true reason for her refusal. It's clear that she has a bias against younger guests, and it shows. I will NEVER return to this place or spend my money here agai...
Love this place! I’ve reviewed Maxis before but I think it’s worth a second review lol! The music is tasteful not raunchy, the atmosphere is cool! It’s a mature crowd ages 30’s-60’s everyone can handle their liquor, nobody fights and there’s lots of dancing. Dress code is classy not hood lol! And this place is located at the very top of the hotel so the view is really nice, you can see airplanes taking off.
You need a DJ who is willing to change it up add new music. He says he plays requests, but that 's not true. We asked him to play a song and his response was I never heard of it Really you need to try out new stuff instead of worrying about the direction people are dancing in.
