Amazing pub and restaurant suitable for all. Unbeatable service, great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Italian street food and British pub food all better than most restaurants in Cambridge. Family run and independent places are hard to come by these days This is a MUST if you are in or around Cambridge.
Warm welcome, really well kept selection of ale and beer. Went to find a pub to escape the football and were not disappointed. Sad we had already booked dinner somewhere else otherwise we would have stayed for dinner, the food looked great too. Did share some chips which were really good.
Very nice local pub with various interesting brews on tap. Had an apricot mad recently, that was amazing! Typical Cambridge prices for a pint, but the selection of friendly, helpful staff make it worth it. Also a very good kalzon-like lunch. Finished with vegetables, hummus and cheese.
Returned to the Maypole in early January 2022, and wished I'd returned earlier. Not just a great selection of cask beers, but also interesting keg beers. Excellent selection of high-quality beers: from alice to lagators and lemons. Not the usual and predominant selection of Green King. Despite important construction work next to the beer garden was made very effective and we will be worth a visit. Pizzas looked great!
