I give the friendly staff and food (Carnitas Burrito) an unofficial 5 star rating. The price points correspond to those of the dune in restaurants such as Cattleman's or Red Lobster in Sacramento. But given the geographical situation in comparison, I can see why the price point is higher. Anyway, decided for the lunch time on my way back from Albany, CA. Who knew? As far as Carnitas Burrito is concerned, the least expensive or comparable to a 1 item board (including beans and rice). This burrito seemed massive with pork, beans, rice and salsa fresca. The food is great at Mazatlan. I can now give them 4 stars. When I first visited them a month ago, I called in an order. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I got there 25 minutes later for them to say that they didn't have the order at all. The young woman wasn't even pleasant about it. I was rather annoyed reluctantly placed the order again for another 20 minute wait. We decided to give them a second chance. Since then things have been good for us there. Their food is very good very well prepared. Customer service could improve even more though with one woman who manages the orders there. Too much attitude from her. I hope to give a higher rating eventually.
The New Quesadilla was really good! I'll order it again. A good combination of vegetables, meat and cheese. Mostly Quesadillas are super extra mega cheesy and greasy. But her Quesadilla has a good combination. We usually order Burritos from here, and they are good, but also more on the average page for a Burrito, but they are the best Burritos in the vicinity of Hercules, Pinole, Rodeo, and it shows because they were always busy when we left. The price seems a little high.
Probably the best tacos I've ever eaten. The Consome was so delicious and tasteful I drank it at one point. The ladies before that were very sweet and friendly. I will definitely come back to their food. Amazing!

Food is delicious. Its just gets very busy in there. But the wait isnt to bad. Dont get food if you are in a rush either way. Plan ahead .

Yummy tacos, but definitely on the pricier side for Mexican food.
