Best batter for fish and chips this side of the Channel. The other day went for lunch because they had lamb shank and OH MY GOD. It was like home cooking. Real potatoes to make the mash, real chopped carrots just perfectly not too cooked to make them crunchy and keep all the flavours, the gravy exactly what it ought to be. The mix of all was heaven. Not too much salt, keeping the original flavours of everything, what else? The people are great, friendly, helpful. The place is packed with English-speaking people (That's a good point for the place), and the cook is simply great. Good raw ingredients, great cooking.
