Great view. Service could be better but is ok. Quite pricey when the food's not outstanding but then again you're paying for the ambiance. I tried the teriyaki chicken which was very filling and a great healthy meal but it didn't have a wow factor with the taste. The rice could be softer. My friend had the kaarage which was crispy and yummy. Both chickens were tender. I'll go back again for the iced coffee that I wasn't able to try last time but it looked good. MCA members get 10% off so that's another incentive to go back.
Come for the stellar views and relaxed rooftop setting but not for the food. The pork belly salad was disappointing, the pork belly was not crispy at all and the meat was rough as rubber, the salad drenched in olive oil. The barramundi spring rolls were much better and had quite a nice zest from the ponzu dipping sauce. Quite interesting to have a fish based spring roll. Great atmosphere, always buzzing with activity but food is mediocre.
Couldn't have picked a better day for this. Sun shining, plenty of space on the balcony and uninterrupted views of the city, opera house and harbour bridge. The coffee was great and also really enjoyed the chicken, bacon and kale sandwich. Great spot to sit back and relax. Definitely recommend it for overseas visitors wanting to have a bite and check out our great city views. Fast, slick service.
One of the best coffee. View was spectacular, staff were friendly and weather was wild so coffee was the best friend on that day. Recommended MCA cafe whether it might be breakfast, brunch or lunch. They practice Covid safe and order and payment all is contact less system. You won’t regret going there at least for the spectacular view of harbour bridge and opera house.
