The bartender was exceptional, and the food was delicious. One of the highlights was definitely Jill, the head chef, who communicated with us throughout the planning. She was warm, straightforward, and incredibly honest from the start. I would ask her for food recommendations based on our guest count, and she would kindly let me know if I had over-ordered or suggest that a particular item, like the sconuts, would be a big hit—assuring we had plenty of them on hand. The location was impeccable, with guests staying at both the Hyatt and the Historic Bethlehem Hotel, making it a convenient spot. This was our first visit, and we will definitely return. We stopped for dinner and drinks before heading to a concert at The Sands. The menu offered a nice variety of options that are not your typical bar fare. Our group tried the Roasted Red Pepper, Onion Jam, and Brie Melt, the Roast Beef Melt, Chicken Leitrim Boxty, Wild Scot Scotch Egg, and Garlic Parmesan Wings. Wow! We were all really impressed with our meals; everything was delicious! My only minor issue was with the acoustics, or perhaps it was just the very loud table next to us that made it feel that way. Other than that, we loved the atmosphere, food, and service.
A friend and I learned about this restaurant known for its extensive selection of Scotch, so we decided to take the four-hour drive from southern Delaware. We were absolutely blown away! The whisky flights were served by incredibly friendly, personable, and knowledgeable bartenders. While we hadn't originally intended to try the food, we're so glad we did because it was fantastic—everything exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, the staff were wonderful, and even the owner (I assume that’s who she was) was delightful. If you're in the area, make sure you don't miss this place!
The food here is absolutely delicious! I've dined here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and each experience has been fantastic. They have their own pastry chef, and we always indulge in their shortbread cookies. Additionally, they craft their own Irish cream and even make ice cream from it! Everything is simply amazing! The atmosphere is delightful, the staff is excellent, and the food is exceptional! There’s a good variety on the menu, and the portion sizes are generous. It’s a good idea to call ahead, as they tend to be quite busy. Although it’s not a large space, they do offer outdoor seating as well.
The staff is genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, creating a welcoming atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. They even offer a doggie menu for patrons who want to enjoy their meals on the patio with their furry friends. The selection of food and drinks is abundant and excellent.
