My daughter and I visited McDonald's for lunch just after 11:30 AM today. The renovations looked fantastic, and we were impressed with the excellent service and the quick turnaround on our food! The highlight of our visit was definitely the gentleman who was welcoming everyone. Every restaurant should have someone like him! He had a beaming smile and greeted us with a cheerful "good morning." He playfully joked with my daughter about running out of chicken nuggets when she asked if they had any, and he kept us entertained while we waited for our food. I love the French fries and the MCDONALD'S on Albany Avenue in Kingston N.Y. was the first one to open, ever ! Yes there was a time before they existed! and this one is also good, not the first one in Saugerties N.Y. ; but it's been here awhile and is clean, and good and the staff know how to take orders pretty quickly too. So I can recommend it for a quick breakfast lunch and of course late night munchies!
