Today I went thru the drive thru. I had placed an order thru the app. When I arrived at the second window I was told the shake machine was down so being I had ordered two shakes would I like a refund or something else to drink. I selected a refund as my kids only wanted a shake. The girl said no problem. Then appears the manager Anthony who told me he can’t give me a refund because I ordered thru the app. I said it’s ok if you can’t refund my regular payment you can just give cash as that is what they normally do whenever they are out of something. He said no, I’m not giving you any refund. If you want a refund you can contact McDonald’s in the app. He said the general manager instructed them to not give any refunds. I’m confused you’re telling me you don’t have what I ordered and are expecting me to be ok with not getting 8.00 back? I explained they could modify the order on their end to cancel the shakes. He continued to deny to assist me with the refund and told me to do it in the app. I pulled up the app to show him they already completed the order on their end so there’s no way for me to cancel it out. He said I’m not giving you a refund. I even suggested a gift card because I just wanted to get on my way and get my money back. He said no. Clearly when a restaurant doesn’t have something you have to refund the customer not harass them. I can tell you I have had this happen about 15 times where something isn’t available and it’s never a big deal every other McDonald’s just refunds your order including the other staff at this location. I have never encountered someone like Anthony who treats customers like this. Being he offered no resolution besides not giving me a refund I came up with the solution to just give me 4 frozen cokes as that was an even exchange. I did contact another McDonald’s and spoke with a polite manager and I was told that the employees can refund on their end and they can also modify the order. Maybe someone should explain this to Anthony how it’s supposed to work when you don’t have an item someone orders. The rest of the employees were very friendly and helpful like they are always at this location. Everyone is wonderful, this is the first negative experience I’ve had here. I never write reviews but I wanted to make the upper management aware of how you are treating customers so this doesn’t happen to someone else. It’s a shame. Simple concept you don’t have something someone has paid for you need to refund them.

Well I went through the drive through and placed my order and drove away, big mistake, got to my destination and went to eat my food and first thing was my side of tarter sauce, it was Big Mac sauce, my chicken sandwich looked like it had been placed in a box and then shook it up and all the contents were everywhere, it tasted so bad it wasn’t even funny, my French fry’s were good but now I had to eat them with Big Mac sauce, my diet soda was good, I couldn’t even do the survey because the recipe was so in readable, replace your ink cartridge MacDonald’s, $12,98 and a stomach ache what a waste of money and time, you suck MacDonald’s

Tried to purchase Blueberry Muffins prior to work and they forgot to take them out at 5am to be ready for 8am ?
