I thought it would be a good idea to surprise my partner with a big McDonald’s breakfast for his birthday since he has been going through a tough time lately and we are both feeling unwell. Unfortunately, half of our order was missing and the rest was incorrect. We were unable to get a refund for the delivery since McDonald’s partners with Uber Eats. This ruined our morning and I have now deleted both my McDonald’s and Uber Eats accounts. I am frustrated with the lack of resolution for incorrect orders. This was our first time visiting this area, and we decided to stop by McDonald's. We were met by a rude employee who was cleaning the outside seating area. When my dad suggested we sit there, we were told the table was reserved for another family who was inside ordering their food. My dad made a joke about needing a bigger restaurant to accommodate everyone, but the employee became confrontational and disrespectful. I would suggest that this employee consider a new career path, as his customer service skills are lacking. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this McDonald's. First impressions are important to me, and the service at KFC across the street was excellent in comparison.
