I spent some time at Braunschweig Hauptbahnhof last week with a visitor from Chicago, Illinois. As his train to Berlin was delayed by 30 minutes, we explored the premises. ... bei Sonne auf dem Vorplatz des Bahnhofs. Insbesondere im Sommer eine angenehme Art sich die Wartezeit auf verspätete Züge der DB zu vertreiben. Besser als innen oder auf dem Bahnsteig. Burger King hat prompt nachgezogen und hat ebenfalls Tische & Stühle auf den Vorplatz gestellt.
Comparably good McDonald’s restaurant covering all needs power outlets, self service counter, outside seating overlooking the station plaza, modern interior. If you fancy less noise and crowds, you can have your food to go and walk in one of the nearby parks.

Über die angebotenen Speisen braucht man kein Wort verlieren, sind überall exakt gleich. Aber im hinteren Teil des Lokals stehen bequeme Sessel, die bei längeren Wartezeiten sehr bequem sind. Wartesäle hat die Bahn ja abgeschafft.
Ist nicht üblich, bei McDonalds immer freundliches und entgegenkommendes Personal zu sehen.Hier wurde ich auch in deutsch verstanden und nicht blöde angemacht wenn ich nicht gleich die Bestellung aufsagen konnte.
Relativ gut geschulte Mitarbeiter. Essen wie üblich. Sitzmöglichkeiten draussen. W-Lan kostenfrei für eine begrenzte Zeit. Kein Schmuckstück unter den Filialen, aber erfüllt den Zweck einer goldenen Schwalbe...
Had to stop for a bite to eat during a busy shopping day ! Good service and the food was hot but the tables weren't very clean, let a member of staff know and someone cleaned the tables a few minutes later.
