I recommend going to the McDonalds across town, not this one. This one at the travel stop gets our orders wrong 9/10 times and customer service is poor. Not the worst if you don't mind checking the bag before you leave. Today I ordered sauce for the nuggets, asked the cashier at the window very kindly if the sauce was already in the Happy meal box or if I could get some, and she looked at me wide eyed like I was dumb. Nodded her head but didn't answer me. Not really sure why. I checked anyways before I left and there was no sauce with the happy meal so I went back through the drive through to get it. Went in last night for something quick and easy. The staff was fast to take my order since the kiosks were down. Upon ordering, I was told there were only 3 options to choose from. Unfortunately, I had to change what I was ordering to fit the criteria. The wait for the food was a little long, but it seemed they may have been short staffed so that wasn't much of an issue and it wasn't absurdly long. The sweet tea tasted off like it was a little dated, but this was also 1am so not the biggest deal in the world. Seems the staff is doing their best with what they've got. Hope the franchise can help this location out a bit more. Nothing really against the few emoyees there.
I went to pick up my mobile order of 2 breakfast sandwiches and a 3-pack of cookies. When I arrived, I saw that the order screen was full, so I sat in the designated area for over 30 minutes. Even after receiving my food, I still had to wait for the cookies. I requested a refund but was unable to receive one due to it being a mobile order. It was frustrating to receive my order incomplete. Despite the fresh food, the wait was too long. The restaurant should prioritize orders and ensure they are ready before being picked up. I may not return in the future.
When we arrived at the restaurant, we were concerned. The trash cans were overflowing and there were flies everywhere. There was no tea available at the drink station and the dining area was littered with trash on the floor. I had to clean our table myself. The area behind the counter that I could see was dirty and employees were standing around instead of cleaning and serving customers. The manager was wearing flip flops instead of work shoes. I have always gotten great service at this McDonald's due to me being a regular customer. But the have a new employee named Jasmine and she has the worst attitude. She absolutely no customer service and rolls her eyes at every customer. She tries to look cool but when I ordered a ice coffee u made it as sloppy as she could and was mad when I asked for whipped cream after I put it in my order. She needs to be terminated. This isn't the first time I've had issues with this new girl.
If I could give less than one star, I would. It's not the food, it's the employees. An older woman at the counter claimed that a Happy Meal was missing a toy. Despite initially giving a replacement toy, the employee then accused the woman of lying and insisted that she had actually provided the toy. I do not appreciate the lack of professionalism and customer service. I will not be returning to this McDonald's.
I usually don't have a prñoblem with this mcdonald's, but this morning I have. I ordered two sausage and cheese biscuits and two speck and cheese biscuits. when I came home and we were ready to eat the sausage meats, there were no speck and cheesecakes in the bag. Instead of speck and cheese biscuits I had two egg biscuits with no cheese only one!
