I don't mind waiting 5-10 minutes. It's convenience food, it's hard work and I understand it as an ex-mcdonalds employee. However when it takes that long PLUS they get your order wrong its just irritating. The food was still hot and the service friendly, but I should be able to trust that when my order is called I'm getting the food I paid for. I was supposed to get a double sausage and egg mcmuffin with extra sausage, no cheese or egg.... Instead of that I got a Breakfast Roll with Ketchup. I still got the correct drinks and sides but that means someone else also got part my order and not the correct part of their own.
I found this to be a nice restaurant to sit in, having a large area full of tables that had cleanliness maintained. My employee meal discount could not be used on the app at this restaurant for some reason despite how I returned to work 3 weeks ago and when I spoke to the staff about it, they did absolutely nothing to help me. I bought myself some cheese melt dippers too that were tasty and relatively fresh, though the breadcrumbs were knocked off the top of 2, showing the kitchen workers weren't careful enough.
There was no music playing. The staff were friendly but the atmosphere seemed subdued and a bit depressed. The toilets are upstairs and not obvious looking like a fire exit and were clearly not regularly cleaned with cracked floor tiles as if there had been a big fight in there. The order machine I used did not print properly. The food was great. No parking provided as this is in the pedestrian area of York city.
Ok overall. Very busy at times. Have to wait for a long time. Very irritating. Staff do try to maintain hygiene standard, but just too many people and too busy. Would be better if more staffs are there to help Roger food and drinks made faster, rather than have to wait.Also staffs have to shout the order number, which seems to be the case now in most McDonald, which make the whole service extremely stupid.

All good in the daytime however, every night there are riots of over 15 young people trying to start fights. I’ve seen the police called numerous times and the crowds just kicked the van while some of the worst people are put inside. Those same people are there every night starting fights and ruining the nice environment of the large McDonald’s
Food was stunning, very fresh. I had the tacos! Best tacos I have had in a long time. The restaurant was very clean and the gent that served me was very friendly! Reasonably priced and would highly recommend.
I ordered with the self-service machine and haven’t got a receipt. One of the staff helped me a lot and make sure I’ll know when my food is ready. I made changes to my meal and they were ignored unfortunately
capacity for many people in the ground floor and in the first floor. more personal and kiosks for better and faster service. from outside was a bit difficult. toilet facilities are also good for many people.

It was always fast.proper fast food is not. Children, adults, older adults just love it. Just a little more expensive than before, but... that's it now. Enjoy
